Pupillage and Tenancy

Pupillage

We're always happy to discuss with potential pupils about a career at the Bar, applications for pupillage should be sent by email, addressed to the Head of the Pupillage Committee.  A cover letter, curriculum vitae, as well as any particular field of specialization or term of pupillage you are interested in should be included in your application.

Please note that intending pupils must have a good understanding of the Barristers (Qualifications for Admission) Rules, Cap. 159AC and should check out the "Admissions and Pupillage" section of the Hong Kong Bar Association's website for helpful information.

Internship

Our Chambers offers opportunities for law students who are interested in shadowing barristers during term breaks. Through this program, students can gain exposure to various aspects of life at the Bar and learn about what it may entail.

The number of internships available is limited and depends on the number of applicants. Please note that these internships are unpaid, but they are considered a valuable part of a law student's education in the practical aspects of the law.

Applications should be addressed to our Chambers' secretary Miss Phyllis Leung at info@islandchambers.com.
