Profile

Grace was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2012 and commenced full practice after completing her pupillage with Mr. Derek Chan (now Mr. Derek Chan SC), Mr. Kent Yee and Mr. Kenneth CK Chow. She maintains a broad practice in both civil and criminal law.


Civil Practice

In her civil practice, Grace specializes in Equity & Trusts, Probate, and Administration. She also has extensive experience in Company Law, Shareholders' Dispute, Contract law, Employment law, Matrimonial matters, Conflict of laws, Conveyancing, Landlord and Tenant Disputes, and Personal Injury.


She has also represented respondents in complex compulsory sale cases before the Lands Tribunal.


In addition, she routinely advises Hong Kong companies on compliance matters related to securities and listing regulations.


Criminal Practice

On the criminal side, Grace has handled a wide range of cases, acting as both a fiat prosecutor and defence counsel. Her experience includes cases involving commercial fraud, market misconduct, indecency, dishonesty, dangerous drugs, violence, industrial summons, and traffic offences.


Alternative Dispute Resolution

In the field of alternative dispute resolution, Grace has represented parties as counsel in cross-border arbitration proceedings in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Singapore.

She also accepts instructions in mediation and arbitration.


Technology and Crypto Law

Beyond traditional legal practice, Grace has a strong interest in information technology and cryptocurrency law, drawing from her background in the IT field.


Languages

Grace is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua, and she also has a working knowledge of Chiuchownese.
